Luck had nothing to do with her carving her place into the world. Matteo Andoni thrived on luck. He might as well walk outside with a blindfold and throw darts for where to go next. He always ended up where he needed to be. Which is how he got to Spindrift, needing Arthie's help to go undercover in an underground gambling ring.

Gulliver never used to like his his father. His father, on a scale of good dad to bad dad was mediocre. A solid C, most days. Passing but only on the merit that Gulliver is still alive and doesn't have any major trauma. Then his dad had a mental breakdown, streaked through the streets naked and came back acting weird. And even more weirdly, Gulliver thinks he prefers his dad like this.
