At least that's what a doctor and a lunatic, wearing a black cloak, keep on saying. Wasn't she to young to die? Now she is stuck in Limbus, the holding place for those like her who have some wrongs to right. The problem is Cassie has no idea what she did wrong. On top of that, there is a book called the "Book Of The Dead." If the book fall's into the wrong hands, it will bring the destruction of Limbus. If that happens she will disappear. Not only does she have to worry about disappearing herself, but the destruction of Limbus would cause an off balance. Bringing the destruction to all worlds--living and nonliving. Cassie has a lot on her plate. Thankfully, she's not doing it alone. She has the help of a furry demon and the only living person who can see her.....Allen Grey! But will that be enough to save everyone?

The second year of school has started for Artemis and everything should be fine but secrets of the past still haunt the poor soul, but he still pushes it back into the far corners of his mind. Things start to be unveiled when people start to be found murdered near Monarch Academy and Artemis starts to look into it. What will Artemis do? Find his family? Make up with the past?
