June has had a stolen life. Only a few months after her birth, Kyoshi Island was stormed by firebenders and her family was stolen into indentured servitude to the royal family themselves. For her whole life she has only known being a servant to the fire lord and his children. Until Prince Zuko makes a grave mistake and is sent to find the avatar, with June being broken away from her family to be his servant on his long taxing journey. But she still holds hope that one day she will save her family from the fire kingdom and going back to her roots at Kyoshi Island. And this is all possible to her because she holds a deep secret; she is a metalbender. Well, technically an earthbender but from being on a boat that is made out of metal she ditched rocks and turned to iron. While all of this is going on, two siblings, Katara and Sokka awaken the avatar, Aang, who was stuck in an iceberg for a hundred years, giving June the chance to get off that retched boat and on track to save her family. But will she escape unscathed? Illumina was only a seventeen year old girl, working to keep her mother, younger brother and herself stable. She fell in love with the story of the Avatar, Avatar Aang being the last Airbender in the first series then bringing peace from a raging 100 year war, and Avatar Korra whom brought the spirit realm and physical together along with the Air Nation's return. Breaking her dormant state was their short term goal, and their long term only even filled with much more evil. They had her in their grasp, untrained and vulnerable until she escaped out of sight - a portal opened landing her in the time of Avatar Aang. She had no way back, and no idea why she was here.
