More than a scar. If the name of the book seems strange, it's because this story is beyond mediocre. I'll start from the beginning. There is a young distraught girl in the darkest parts of an ordinary town in Louisiana. She doesn't hide from anything or anyone. Not the accruing debts of her dead step-mother. Not the acrimonious tidbits of her midnight job at The Burger Factor. Not the intimidating glares of the upper class folks all around town. She doesn't exactly hold her head up high, but she has put in all it takes to survive.
