Hailed as unholy for its creepy romance, boring main character, and dumb love interests, nearly everyone on the Internet has built a hate train and jumped right on it, screaming the name of Stephanie Meyer. Whether the book deserves the hate it gets is up to you, but here's the way I would rewrite it.
