This is a fictional reimagination of the Roaring 1920s world in a fantasticle setting. While real nations will be renamed, with additional lore added on to the world and certain historical details removed or altered, they will be identifiable. In my tale Coastguard John Hinkley is stationed at a remote location on the north east coast of England where smugglers and coastguard officers trade with cutlasses and muskets. When a dead body is found John must seek out the perpetrators, and his investigation brings him up against unexpected adversaries.
