However when you left Pandora to go back to Promethea, your home planet, you both lost contact with one another and left your relationship to slowly wither away. Years later you were destroying Hyperiom facilites for contracts, and one of your clients had led you into a trap, causing you to meet with Handsome Jack. At first you thought he was familiar but you couldnt pin who he could be until you two start working together and you both slowly start realising who you both really are.. So, will you choose to get back with your old lover and friend? or is this a matter that's best left to rot?

Based on a Role Play experienced on Shamchat. This story is an AU that takes place outside the events of the game. Shortly after Rhys gets mixed up with the fake vault key, he gets separated from his friends and lost in the harsh desert of Pandora. Rhys had almost not chance of surviving before a mysterious stranger passing by found him and saved him, and took him back to the nearby town. Rhys is grateful and surprised that he didn't kill Rhys on the spot for being a part of Hyperion. The man ended up asking a lot of questions about Hyperion, seeming almost interested, as if he was once there. Rhys notes how things have been since Handsome Jack died, and oddly, this stranger sounds almost exactly like him....

So since the borderlands community is coming to a rise of a new beginning. I decided that i will make a oneshot book for all of you lovers of handsome jack! will be at your service at anytime! P.S.
