Hi everyone, my name is Lorena Carreras and I wrote my true story that is "Cancer & Surviving Cancer" it's a true story because it happened to me. And the reason that I wrote this story is to inspire people that you don't have to be scared of anything, because god is with you every time and he will be forever by your side. And I want to inspire people to believe in themselves and be brave and strong for every difficult situation You are having. So I hope you like my book and spread the book so that can everyone see it. This eerie tale is dedicated to my Grandmother on my Mom's side. She was born and raised in Ireland, before she came to Chicago. She had a rough life and some of her stories haunt me. This was inspired by a chilling tale she heard back in Ireland.

I just needed some time to myself, so I took a walk and found myself on a subway. Made a new friend too, she helped me think on life a bit. I think I was able to help her too, in a way.

Slam poetry, this is a letter for all those directors who treat actors who have an accent like if they had a disability, because they aren't American enough. This poem was inspired in a Puerto Rican actress who was always taught she had a very rough accent for directors in the East coast but in the West Coast didn't.

"I don't want to be the reason you settle" I choke out, tears falling unwillingly as he holds my face in both his hands, wiping my tears away as they drop. "Santana, you're the reason I don't." Learning to love after heartbreak is hard, and trying not to fall in love with someone who wants to give you everything is harder.
