Silence is not always golden. There comes a time in the life of a society and a country when the elected people's representatives and governments, those who have taken the oath to protect the constitution and its institutions, get so busy in their power surroundings that the cries of agony of the very people who put them there, become an irritant for them. The common man everywhere today is just bleeding and is in great agony, with no solace from anywhere. At such a point it is the binding duty of the ballots to make the sleeping corridors of power hear to their mighty reverberations on the streets. Silence is not always golden. The danger is if you don't speak out when it matters then perhaps you will lose your voice forever. So here are some poems - a call to Wake Up and Stand Up - for everything that matters to you. For freedom, and for democracy. I call these poems of mine Songs of a Rebel.

In a beautiful winter evening when everything seems serene & favourable the human mind becomes an unstoppable bird and traverse far and wide in the sprawling landscape and even beyond it. Maybe the stars in the sky, or the galaxies light years ahead will satiate its ever-increasing demand for more freedom, more fun and a glorious outcome.
