It seemed from the moment that she first entered the world that Nyx just wasn't meant to be here. Left at an orphanage before she couldn't even have a conscious thought in the world, never being adopted until she aged out of a system that didn't care one way or the other what happened to her, and taking on a variety of odd jobs just to stay off of the streets. A bit down on her luck, to say the least. Nyx's dreams of writing, to become someone with respect to her name and where no one would look down upon her with such disgust and little regard, are the only thing keeping her going. When her and the Desert Fey known as Borra cross paths one fateful night, Nyx knows that the fey is her ticket to writing the novel of the century. One deal, one year: no strings attached. However, things could never remain so simple. What on earth were either one of them supposed to do when they realized they had already fallen for the other? "Do not patronize me!"Nyx scoffed, stomping away from Borra with her muddied notebook in hand. Her eyes burned from trying to contain her tears as rain drenched the Moors. Borra stormed after her, a desperate gleam in his furious gaze. "I'm not!" He countered, reaching to grip at her ripped sleeve; blood pouring from the cut in her tan skin. "Stop being stubborn woman, and let me-" "Just forget I ever said anything! I knew this was a bad idea; you're nothing but a rude, arrogant, self-centered bastard-" Nyx cut herself off as Borra seized hold of her arm, grip firm but soft to avoid pressuring her cut. He spun her around to face him, and her golden eyes immediately met his own. They were...gentle. Comforting, even. Concerned for her like she was someone who mattered. Yeah; Nyx was screwed.

Iris moves to a town close to the castle of prince Philip she had just gone trough a horrible situation and needed a place to stay only 10 at the time she meets Claude(gramps) who lets her stay with him. 6 years pass and she's now turning 17 and takes over Claude's bakery only expecting to live a calm and peaceful life with her 5 year old sister. But her interest in fey her origins the people she meets and a certain tundra dark fey say otherwise It will take long for there to be new updates
