Boruto was one of the most popular kids in school. However, Mitsuki was the weird kid. But, he didn't care. He cared for no one. Though, is that really true?

Mistuki knew they would be fine but something about this was making him feel uneasy. What bothered him most was that there wasn't a rational reason for it. It was just a feeling he couldn't shake.

There was nothing wrong with this but, looking around at the dozens of other couples, he couldn't help the feeling that people would get the wrong idea. He took a deep, steadying breath. This wasn't a date. He was just taking his best friend to the summer festival. No big deal.

He pressed the heel of his palm against his brow, rubbing as he sighed. He glanced at Kawaki's clone lounging on his dad's couch. "Look, I'm not trying to be a pain, but I also can't help you if you don't let me in on what's going on. I know you well enough by now that I don't think you'd try to leave the village again for no good reason," Boruto said. Or, at least, Boruto was pretty sure he wouldn't. OR This is my attempt at telling Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, and the rest of the crew's crumbling story from recent manga chapters up through to the time skip and beyond. When he was near, they were apprehensive. When they thought he wasn't there, he often overheard them describing him as "cold-blooded" or "monster". It didn't bother him, though. What others thought about him was none of his business.

It started out small. A fleck. It was hardly noticeable, and the only reason Mitsuki was aware of it at all was because his own skin was so pale and, admittedly, flawless. Then another one appeared. And another. Before he knew it it became a glaringly obvious on what it was. Mitsuki just hadn't realized that a clone could have a soulmark.

Snake and humans were never ment to get along. They've been at war for years and now it came to an end. But they still hated eachother with every ounce in their body. I actually don't know how to write stories but this idea just popped on my head and I can't seem to sleep everytime I'm thinking of it. I don't know if I'll finish this, I just want to have my sleep back. I don't know if someone had the same idea like this story has but I haven't read any stories about BoruMitsu with this kind of trope or something.

Mitsuki originally goes to Hidden Leaf to assassinate Boruto but something else happens that changes his mind

Boruto has a secret crush on Mitsuki, Others believe they aren't meant for each other But they are wrong, with a special black light you can see who the soul mate strings are connected to, Boruto and Mitsuki we're connected.

Mitsuki breathed in through his nose and closed his eyes again, directing his full focus to the happy memory and thoroughly enjoying the moment. Boruto never really had understood what Mitsuki meant by referring to him as his Sun, so by watching sunrises and sunsets together Mitsuki had hoped his feelings would somehow get through to Boruto. __________________________ This is a Mitsuboru/Borumitsu ship fanfic and my first written anything ever!
