boruto has had a crush on mitsuki for the longest time. it was time to change that crush for something more.

Mitsuki starts to struggle with an overwhelming feeling towards Boruto.Every attempt futile to finding out his feeling towards a friend. Never understanding his true emotions he tries to get closer.

Boruto was one of the most popular kids in school. However, Mitsuki was the weird kid. But, he didn't care. He cared for no one. Though, is that really true?

There was nothing wrong with this but, looking around at the dozens of other couples, he couldn't help the feeling that people would get the wrong idea. He took a deep, steadying breath. This wasn't a date. He was just taking his best friend to the summer festival. No big deal.

this is actually inspired by @ShinCorn_ThePlant. I brought some of my old Borumitsu love child back and I'm really happy about it.

Boruto was gone before anyone could say goodbye. Mitsuki had been carrying something ever since - grief, silence, and a secret that was never supposed to be his alone to keep. Some things survive even the people who made them. Status - Completed.

This is the new version since I've been wanting to improve on This story and focus more on the plot.

Mitsuki breathed in through his nose and closed his eyes again, directing his full focus to the happy memory and thoroughly enjoying the moment. Boruto never really had understood what Mitsuki meant by referring to him as his Sun, so by watching sunrises and sunsets together Mitsuki had hoped his feelings would somehow get through to Boruto. __________________________ This is a Mitsuboru/Borumitsu ship fanfic and my first written anything ever! I actually don't know how to write stories but this idea just popped on my head and I can't seem to sleep everytime I'm thinking of it. I don't know if I'll finish this, I just want to have my sleep back. I don't know if someone had the same idea like this story has but I haven't read any stories about BoruMitsu with this kind of trope or something.
