You know you're Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit obsessed when...

How can one go through so much pain one can wonder. Talissa has gone through so much loss and pain. Nothing good ever happens so what's there to lose. There is one thing that keeps her going and that is...is... she doesn't know but her heart feels the need to stay alive. Talissa is asked to go on an adventure with 13 dwarves a wizard and a hobbit. On this adventure she finds many things, Hope, Friends, Trust, 14 Reasons to live, and love. Maybe.

Alternate Universe ~Everybody Lives~ 6 months after the Battle of the Five Armies. Erebor had been reclaimed. Thorin is finally King Under the Mountain. The company, Fíli and Kíli, along with their mother Dís, live peacefully under the rule of Thorin Oakenshield. Living in the Lonely Mountain was nothing like the two brothers ever imagine it to be. Yes, the stench of dragon still lingered within the halls, but it was no match to the beautiful tapestries, mounds of gold, and the chambers of green marble. Though eventually, one of them had to realize they weren't as safe as they thought they were. Ghosts of the past were already looming through his mind at night. What will happen if that's all he can think about? Believe me, the demons are just getting started.

The company wasn't expecting a woman, nether less an elleth instead of Dain. On her journey through middle earth she meets new friends and enemies, and more importantly a Dwarf prince who catches her eye. Her mind and strength is tested along with her heart. What will become of Deeannah during this long quest?

It's been months since The Battle of the Five Armies. Bilbo has returned to the Shire, but he can't escape the memories. The sweet young princes, cheeky and wholesome, lying lifeless on the ground, the laughter and fire, which usually burned so bright, gone. They didn't even live to see a century. And the king-that-never-was, the brave, kind, stubborn dwarf, bleeding out in his lap as he begged for forgiveness, and he didn't even get the chance to tell him that he loved him before he faded away. Months of pain. Until the knock on the door.
