So I basically wrote a httyd meets middle earth. Kíli never meant to befriend a drake. He definitely never meant to ride one.But when a young drake chooses him, Kíli is thrown into a world of fire, flight, and danger far beyond anything he imagined. As an ancient dragon rises to reclaim her children, Kíli must risk everything-his life, his heart, and the trust of his own kin-to protect the creature who saved him.In a kingdom still haunted by Smaug, one dwarf and one drake will change everything.

A very different view on Thorin Oakenshield himself. Everything and everyone was taken from him in the Battle of the Five Armies. This story takes place afterwards and is about how a lost, hurting king moves on with his life as the last possible dwarf or Durin on earth. We get to see how he copes by himself and finds a new life to live as a commoner instead of a royal as he was raised. Plus, I'm just really tired of seeing stories of new characters going on the quest with the company. The stories are always on the quest and stuff. Like, that stuff is getting old. So here's this story for you if you're like me. 😉

But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. Theory - EVERYONE LIVES. When Bilbo is presented with a Mithril helmet (instead of the chain-mail we all know he would normally use) during the Battle of the Five Armies, everything is about to change. Problems will be overridden, favorite lines will be remembered in new ways, but most importantly: all that were lost, are saved. On her journey through middle earth she meets new friends and enemies, and more importantly a Dwarf prince who catches her eye. Her mind and strength is tested along with her heart. What will become of Deeannah during this long quest?

A Legolas and Tauríel Fanfiction written by sassy.gryffindor.elf and legolasxthranduil 500 years ago. There was a battle going on, on the outskirts of Mirkwood Forest. The orcs had gone after a town full of villagers, but the Mirkwood Guard could not fight them off. Nearby there was a house set ablaze by one of the orcs. A little elfling was inside. She kept calling calling for help, but no one came. Eventually the little elfling inhaled a bit to much smoke and passed out. The next thing she remembered was someone picking her up and carrying her away towards a place of some sort. All characters created by either Peter Jackson or J.R.R. Tolkien.
