I as well as the entire hobbit fan group were extremely displeased by how Peter Jackson chose to end Fili and Kili's lives. I think we owe it to them to make it better, so here I go attempting to right that wrong, hope you guys like it, please leaves some comments and votes!

Tauriel's heart is broken after the battle. She decides to return the token to Kili's mother.

Third book in my Kili x reader series.

A very different view on Thorin Oakenshield himself. Everything and everyone was taken from him in the Battle of the Five Armies. This story takes place afterwards and is about how a lost, hurting king moves on with his life as the last possible dwarf or Durin on earth. We get to see how he copes by himself and finds a new life to live as a commoner instead of a royal as he was raised. Plus, I'm just really tired of seeing stories of new characters going on the quest with the company. The stories are always on the quest and stuff. Like, that stuff is getting old. So here's this story for you if you're like me. 😉

Alternate Universe ~Everybody Lives~ 6 months after the Battle of the Five Armies. Erebor had been reclaimed. Thorin is finally King Under the Mountain. The company, Fíli and Kíli, along with their mother Dís, live peacefully under the rule of Thorin Oakenshield. Living in the Lonely Mountain was nothing like the two brothers ever imagine it to be. Yes, the stench of dragon still lingered within the halls, but it was no match to the beautiful tapestries, mounds of gold, and the chambers of green marble. Though eventually, one of them had to realize they weren't as safe as they thought they were. Ghosts of the past were already looming through his mind at night. What will happen if that's all he can think about? Believe me, the demons are just getting started.

Mihra is a young elf from the Woodland realm. Her only known relative is her cousin Tauriel, the captain of the guard. Besides from their same age, Mihra and Tauriel are quite different. Tauriel is much taller and has reddish hair. Mihra is quite short for an elf and has dark brown hair. The only thing that proves that she even is an elf is her ears and the creamy skin. Besides from that, you could mistake her for the human race. Her whole life, Mihra has been a Mirkwood guard. Mihra, as foolish as she is, completely falls for a certain blonde, tall elf named Legolas. She had met him before, but never she never spoke to him. And when he finally does, it's like she can't think of anything else but him. Her love for him gets them both in trouble. Will her love for him be her death? Does he even feel the same way, or does his heart belong to someone else? Perhaps a young, redhaired elf?

Thranduil, the Elvenking, has lost the love of his life. Legolas, Thranduil's son, is coping from the loss of his mother. These three elves are brought together when Thranduil makes the decision to care for the elf Tauriel. Caring for another helps him recover from the grief of loosing a wife. Tauriel and Legolas find comfort in each other, becoming friends, despite the age gap between them. As Tauriel ages and fully matures, both she and Legolas consider the possibility of finding something more than friendship between them. This story is set in multiple times, chiefly between the time of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings.

Was going to be an Evil!AU Bagginshield fic, but I think we'll just see where it leads. Based post-BOTFA, Bilbo finds himself struggling to fight an unwinnable battle in his heart for the life of his love and his own life. Cover not mine.
