Your relationship with Link has always been weird. You're the lead chef's child of Hyrule, and he's the gluttonous appointed knight to the newfound queen. You weren't strangers, nor friends, nor lovers. Yet you both bonded so well, you found a force shoving you only closer to him, even if the status wasn't determined. what happens if Link gets drunk, accidentally confesses, and falls in love? dun dun dun also, this is after BOTW and not going entirely off the storyline (if there is in the next game) READER IS GENDER NEUTRAL FIGHT ME (there's also some zelda/paya stuff but it's not the main focus)

She really figured he'd be more refined, even after being asleep for so long, but she's dismayed to find that not only does he have the manners of a cretin, but his vocal chords seemed to sustain serious damage from his battle 100 years ago. Or in which, reader is a demigoddess and if she doesn't guide Link on his journey to defeat Ganon and save the world then Hylia will strip her of her status.
