"You missed, though I was really longing for you to do that." ----- You, Link, and Zelda travelled the land of Hyrule at random now that Calamity was gone. That is, until a specific Gerudo girl invites you to her palace. Riju. You became very good friends with her back when Link was trying to reclaim Naboris from Ganon. But... things don't always go to plan when a blonde hero wants your attention.

y/n has lived her entire life in Hateno Village, a young girl with a remarkable ability at combat. She plans to live her life as normal as it has ever been, until one day everything changes. Now recruited as the sixth champion of Hyrule, it is her duty to protect the princess, and aid in the upcoming battle with Calamity Ganon. With the close friends she makes along the way, will she manage to defeat Ganon, or will she face an undesirable fate? This is a Botw x reader story. The main focus of this plot is not romance, however there are a few romantic interests that can be made more relevant to the plot if requested. Also, I will be using the second tense (You/yours). This is to make you feel more immersed in the story, and make it a little more gender-neutral, however the intended gender for y/n is female. But who knows, in the unlikely event that this story becomes popular, I could release versions with different genders. I have a big plan for this story, however I am an incredibly lazy person, so updates may not be that frequent (I'm very sorry, please stay). Let it be known that I have my own opinions on ships (e.g. Miphlink, Miphvali, Zelink), and elements of these will be ✨sprinkled✨ in throughout the story.
