Where a girl feels that life is nothing but unsolvable mysteries and black hope. That it's filled with truth, promise, and hope-that things will be better. But the brokenhearted know better. They know that the world is ugly. That it's filled with lies, deceit, and myths of better things.Though, this isn't a documentary on the dark side of the world, this book is about how a girl traveled down Broken Dreams Boulevard, and walked away better than when she took her first step on the road.

Austin, the sister of Mike Dirnt, gets into an argument over a guitar with a black haired cutie. Little does she know this is her brother's best friend and she will be seeing a lot more of him. When the quartet decides to take a break from writing music and go on a holiday, Austin gets lost and meets a group of emos which she immediately becomes friends with. When they meet back up, will Billie Joe be jealous of Austin's possible new love interest or will he finally enjoy some piece and quiet without her on his chest?
