The horde conquered through the lands that was once lived in harmony. The princess rebelled against the horde and yet it wasn't enough. That is until they found someone within the forbidden forest. Gifted by the nature itself and earned by the monsters within the forest.

When Glimmer returns from the battle of Elberon, Queen Angella is furious with her. She disobeyed orders and put everyone in danger. The only way to keep her daughter out of trouble seems to be a bodyguard. Angella trusts in the abilities of Glimmer's new guardian...at least until she brings back not just her daughter and her friend but a soldier of the Horde as well. A soldier with a mysterious, magical sword.

When the horde attacks a village a bit further into the Whispering Woods, not many of them returned. Interesting Shadow Weaver, she learns about a species none of them knew of. A human-bear hybrid. [This fic is very self indulgent and is probably very Angsty and Catra stepping on you.] You don't remember much from your time as a horde solider. No seriously, you can't remember much besides deserting and you aren't even sure why you did. You do know however that you apparently have a job to protect some blonde princess who seems to attract all kinds of trouble and are also at the same time suppose to fight against her really hot and annoyingly infuriating ex-best friend who seems to really hate her guts. Everyone experiences love, right? Well of course they do but it's whether they know or not. In this case they both are clueless. Catra, well she's a love-sick-puppy mess. She can't control her feelings and so sometimes she ends up hurting others. Adora, well she is a little wiser.........when it comes down to her loved ones. She thinks about things thoroughly, and tries to make the other one feel special with out knowing it. But, they're both clueless love-sick-puppies. Hopefully they end up realizing and seeing that they both love each other. Isn't love hard?

It's been a year since hord primes defeat, glimmer and bow and officially dating, and every thing is going great. but a new threat rises, wanting the power of the heart, wanting To know how to reverse the failsafe. they know they need all the princesses alive for it to work, so they kidnap glimmer and bow, torturing bow to get the queen to talk, will they survive, or will help arrive to late.
