Some dreams are harder to wake from. Penelope has always been a vivid dreamer. She just never expected one of them to start talking back. Night after night, she finds herself in strange, shifting places with the same man-a stranger named Vincent who seems just as confused by her presence as she is by his. With no reason to believe they'll ever meet and nothing to lose by being honest, the two develop an unlikely friendship built in the hours between sleeping and waking. Vincent knows Penelope isn't real. At least, that's what he tells himself. Because believing otherwise would mean explaining why he remembers every conversation. Why she knows things he's never told anyone. Why falling asleep has begun to feel less like dreaming and more like going somewhere. For months, they exist only there. Until Vincent sees Penelope across a crowded convention hall. Awake. Real. And looking directly at him. Now the question isn't whether they've been dreaming. It's why they found each other at all.

How do you know when to stop? When it's time to move on? Does it just hit you like a bullet? Or is it like a slow knife, where it takes time to seep in? Someone tell me, I don't know what to think anymore. I guess it's just hard to let go sometimes. I don't know about you, but I would always hear about these abusive relationships, and the girls who knew their man was cheating, and just let it happen. I always thought "Oh I would never end up like those girls." But you don't always get your way. A wise author once said. "We accept the love we think we deserve." But why do we think so low of ourselves? What does it take to realize were better then what we think? Then what happens when you get what you think you deserve? What would you do to keep your said person? Just don't end up like me, okay? Because life would suck as me.

Clary and Jace...... No, no no. This story isn't about Clary and Jace, but about the people who will become them. And they are none other than Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins. :) Yes, I know we all know that they'll be THE Clary and Jace in the upcoming movie franchise "The Mortal Instruments".
