It's been a year since the heroes had been summoned and the shield hero and spear hero have gotten quite the liking. Can Kairi help Naofumi with the strange feelings he has? Will the kind leave the shield heroes party alone? Who knows?

When the sky split open and demons poured out yet again, something more came out of the fracture... He massacred the amassing horde... Those who stood in his way were ripped and torn... Those who tasted his wrath named him... the doom slayer.

After Naofumi first disappeared from the local library in his world, his family believes him to be dead. All except one. His only younger cousin named Makoto Iwatani. Even though he couldn't find the red book in that same library, Makoto found his way to the side of Queen Mirelia Q Melromarc at the World Conference through... a MIRROR?! Follow the young Iwatani as he takes his steps in this strange new world from the queen's side to his older cousin. Find curiosity in Makoto's past and discover what caused his Jekyll-and-Hyde situation and who is his "Hyde". *HEADS UP* Romance will be more of a sub-focus in this story. . . until later in the series.
