bowser tries his best as a father. He may not be the "hero" in his story, but to his kids, he's the "hero," so when his kids go missing its his job to be the "hero" and talk to his enemy's, when they dont see anything out of the same old or have "no one new" as daisy said, so when the the wairo bros sees them entering the mushroom kingdom he has to find a way to get them back, so he has one person who would not just fob him off there's and ask his help, which is humiliating, maybe even more then going to peach or maybe even mario himself.. Luigi was always playing in his brothers shadow. He didn't mind, but.. this was his chance to do something himself.. and who wouldn't help a father whose kids have run away for no good or clear reason.. even if it's bowser.. He will have to uncover years of issues and lies and problems within the koppa Kingdoms beloved royal family... and not fall in love with the head of it all... nothing could go wrong... right?

Luigi has slowly started to get fed up with everyone treating him like shit or acting like he doesn't exist. Though the last straw is finally pulled when his brother decides not to save him from Bowser and leaves him to 'rot' in Bowser's castle. While staying with Bowser, Luigi learns how to stand up for himself and gains a lot more confidence. He also ends up telling the gaint koopa why he strongly dislikes the mushroom kingdom and why he hates his brother and Peach. Upon hearing this Bowser offers the green plumber a chance to get revenge on everyone and everything that ever wronged him. Hey everyone! So this is mainly a villain arc story for Luigi meaning there will be a lot and I mean a lot of angst, I will put trigger warning at the beginning of those types of chapter when I get around to writing them. Now there will also be a bit of Bowuigi in this story mainly due to the fact I will be incuding the koopalings in the story so like they end up co parenting and falling in love like that. I don't know why but that whole concept seemed funny to me, so I decide to use it as like a way to take a break every now and again for the agnsty stuff. I don't own the characters or the artwork, just the story.

An (probably unoriginal) AU I thought of where Mario and Luigi are the Princes of the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach and Daisy are their knights/protectors. This is a pretty slow burn fanfic of Bowser and Luigi and I'm publishing this story to get input on it and there aren't many Bowuigi fanfics out there. Far into the depths of the Koopa Kingdom, a lonely king resides on his throne counting the days away while feeling empty inside. His son, the young Koopa prince, wanders off looking for meatballs to make his father finally feel content as it kept him being negligent towards his son. Days passed as the young prince kept losing hope of finding a solution for his father's craving, when he suddenly picked up the smoky scent of some freshly made meatballs. He rushed into the tiny house, there was a well-groomed man dressed in green joyfully cooking the most glorious meatballs his little eyes had ever seen. The prince thought quick, and knocked out the man with a chair. He kidnapped him, taking him back to his castle with the intent of making him cook meatballs for his dear father. What kind of future awaits our little malewife?

Bowser finally sends an offer of peace, but it has a price. Have the Princess marry him, and he won't wreak havoc ever again. Peach is hesitant, having no affection in her heart towards her serial-kidnapper, but a certain green plumber volunteers to go in her place. He has been in love with Bowser ever since he's laid eyes on him. Luigi dresses as Peach and is welcomed into Bowser's castle.
