Bowuigi Stories

A loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast but it's Bowuigi. It took me about a month to write this, and it is complete. This was inspired by @_julie_draws_ on TikTok and Instagram. Be kind - I haven't written creatively since high school, and this is my first real attempt at fanfiction.

A post-movie Bowuigi slow burn told through a collection of encounters, following Luigi and Bowser from enemies, to somewhat reluctant company, to something neither of them saw coming. - Luigi had only wanted five quiet minutes to himself. What he didn't expect though, was to find them in a locked room, sitting across from a twenty-something-centimetre (too close for his liking) turtle-dragon who still, somehow, made sure to take up all the space in it. Or, the one time where Luigi has a panic attack, picks the worst possible place to hide, and ends up accidentally triggering what may have been a completely avoidable future new self-induced responsibility.

I used to have a different description but I hated it soo... Anyways, this is a bowuigi story. Specifically, my first bowuigi story. A few little things: I HC Luigi as ftm, so if you don't like that you don't have to read this. I will not have anything smutty in this so please don't expect that :] I tried to make the trope a bit different then the common thing but it's difficult okay :sob:

An (probably unoriginal) AU I thought of where Mario and Luigi are the Princes of the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach and Daisy are their knights/protectors. This is a pretty slow burn fanfic of Bowser and Luigi and I'm publishing this story to get input on it and there aren't many Bowuigi fanfics out there. If the input is good, I'll be more than happy to continue the story because I love this pairing so much. Anyway, enjoy! Also I chose the least accurate cover art for the story >.<
