After the Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026), Bowser and Bowser Jr. are exiled to a lonely planetoid at the edge of the universe. Their isolation is shattered when Luigi's supply ship crashes into their red sands, leaving the nervous hero stranded with the fallen King. While Junior finds a strange new friend in the 'Green Stache', Bowser finds a warmth in Luigi's heart that he never expected. Under the glowing Lumas, three lonely souls must learn that sometimes, getting lost is the only way to find where you truly belong.

this story is basically just fluff. So if you don't want to feel that nice 'warming of the heart' sensation. Then this story isn't for you.
