"I like Scream 5 better!" Eliton argued passionately. His sister laughed. "That's only because you've got a thing for Jenna Ortega!" She leaned back against Luka, who popped a green grape into her mouth. "Who doesn't?" Eliton shot back. "I don't," Nikola said, stepping into the room with a towel draped over his head. "You're boring." Luka tossed a grape at him. Meriam poked Luka in the chest. "I don't either," she added, nodding firmly. In the kitchen, Lucia placed a pan of raw potatoes and onions-seasoned with everything she could find-onto the counter. Nikola stood across the island, pouring two glasses of wine. He slid one toward her, but she pushed it back to his side, circling around the island instead. She took the towel from him, and Nikola kissed the crown of her head before lifting her onto the island. "Oh, okay, you two are being way too lovey-dovey in front of me. I'm going upstairs. Call me when dinner's ready." Eliton got up and made his way around the couch.

A crooked grin tugged at his lips and he brought his face closer. "Yeah. But looks like trouble doesn't want to stay away from you." I blinked.
