A one shot on what should have happened during the optic nerve blocking. A more logical way things should have gone, in a gay fanfic. The brain chooses to ignore your nose, and the sound of your heart beat. The brain is wonderful. The Squip controls Jeremy's brain. So the brain can ignore Michael, right? Correct. BUT! It was 'Optic Nerve Blocking' so the brain chose not to SEE Michael. He would still be able to hear him. And no matter what, the brain is can't make Jeremy not feel Michael touching him. So Michael will be able to get Jeremy to notice him. Or will he?

Not everyone wanted to subject themselves to potential bullying or abuse, or even silent judgement. Jeremy Heere wasn't aware of this fact when he transferred for the first time ever. So, when the openly-Bisexual new student walks into the classroom for the very first time near the end of the year, a painted hairclip the colors of the Bisexual flag in his hair-- a subtle, yet noticeable detail, drama already stirrs. But, Michael sees the quiet, new kid as best-friend material. The only problem: How is he going to stand up for him without making things that don't need to be said obvious?
