Charlotte Langford has been engaged since she was thirteen years old. All she's ever known is that she's supposed to be a good wife, a mother, and a homemaker. With the clock counting down, she begins to realize that she hasn't had half the experiences a young adult should have. She's never been to a frat party. Never gotten so drunk that she couldn't remember the night before. She's never felt in control, and she so badly wants to. So she makes a list. A list of things to do before she's trapped in a marriage she never wanted to be in.
Enter Andy Hayes, with his guitar, tattoos, and bad attitude. He looks like trouble, and he can't stand the rich and snobby. But for some reason, he discovers that he doesn't dislike Charlotte. Doesn't dislike her personality, or the way she looks, or anything about her other than the amount of zeros in her bank account. He finds himself roped into her schemes, helping her explore, and figure out what she truly wants in life.
And eventually she starts to think that it might be him she wants.
