These days dreams are rare and nightmares are limited. There are only two things that attack me at night; spiders and the holocaust. Through Boy in the Striped Pyjamas I found out that war was not so great when I was eight. I've always wanted another ending to this story but didn't want to ruin it's impact. But now I have one. I advise you read the original book until the boys enter 'the room' in the second to last chapter.

When Bruno, Gretel and Rosalie are forced to move from their loving home in Berlin to an unfamiliar place because of their father's promotion in the Nazi army, they soon find their world turned upside down. One of their father's soldiers, Lieutenant Kurt Kotler, falls for Rosalie, the eldest daughter, Rosalie falls for him too. However, Kurt and Rosalie's relationship is torn apart... Will they be with eachother at the end?
