In January 2012 I joined the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), a "boy led" organization that promotes respect, honor, life skills, and personal development. In reality? My troop is a one-hundred-ish group of 5th to 12th graders that are just figuring the world out together. This is why Boy Scouts was always such an amazing experience to me. Throughout it I have made some of the strongest friends I have ever had and we have shared experiences that we will look back on for decades to come, even after our paths of divided. Though we often fall short of the high ideals of the organization, together we have begun to "bushwhack our way through the jungle of life" as I like to put it. Together we have discovered things about ourselves, learned useful and entertaining skills, and most importantly picked up some entertaining stories along the way. Now in late-2016, as I have accomplished Eagle Scout and am preparing to depart from my beloved troop, I am writing down the numerous stories both for you, who have generously taken the time to read this, and for me. Hopefully these stories are even half as entertaining for you to read about as they were for me and my friends to create. Happy reading. :D

They were your normal teen friend group, laughing about their childish dreams and pretending their home lives weren't shitty. When North Korean defectors, Iseul and Minjun, moved to their neighborhood in Santee, California, it leads them to discover each other's home-life secrets and band together to escape the terrible people that are parents. They were just kids though, unaware of the struggles that came with being a group of five runaways. Note: everything written in BOLD is meant to be an "English translation" of another language. (In this story, that'll mainly be Korean and Tagalog.) Uh this is kind of my first ever full writing project that I started when I was like 14 so the writing is gonna be trashy but read it if you want?

A Boyscout troop returning from a weekend in the deep woods discovers that nothing about the world they left is the same. Shambling hoards of undead wander the countryside killing anything that lives. Can this troop survive the trip home? Is there even a home to return to?

Midnight was fast approaching as Marco and the rest of his boy scouts buddies huddled around the campfire after a long day of fun activities. they were exchanging scary stories as the fire threw eerie shadows on their little party. They were telling the story of Paul Tolentedo, a former student who was never seen again after he got trapped inside the school because he missed the school bus one night. Scout Master Billy overheard the story and added that Paul's Ghost still roamed the school hallways at night, begging anyone he came across for a way home. Billy took advantage of the dreadful silence that followed to make a surprise announcement: " If you think your night is over' you're sorely mistaken. " There's no more mission. “ You gotta do, Scouts, " he said , pausing for dramatic effect. " The Bravery Test " The group murmured worriedly among themselves He continued " You are required to walk all the way up to the third floor with just one candle and three matchsticks.

Luke Wilson was raised as a righteous son of God. Church meetings, Sunday school, and Boy Scout outings filled his summer schedule. It wasn't until a tall boy his age, sun-kissed and smiling, took a seat next to him at the campfire that he began to reevaluate where his priorities lied.
