When Mac finally gets to know about the neighbor beside him who's been there for years, life obviously doesn't make anything easy. It turns out their lives are intertwined together in a much more complex way than they can imagine.

An argument between Mac and Desi causes Riley's death, after a while Mac no longer knows how to deal with his emotions

"Actually," the blonde man stepped forward, "we're here to recruit you, Cathy Kane." Cathy scoffed. "For what?" "A think tank." Now that Alex is a fully trained operative for the Phoenix Foundation, he goes on missions with the team but this one is different. Matty send them in France to prevent a Russian terrorist group to acquired a WMD that they will most likely use during the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris on July 26. Not only this mission is in France but the leader is Dimitri Sarov, brother of Alexei Sarov. Read to find out what will happen. I do not own any characters from Alex Rider or MacGyver.
