This fanfic is a sort of sequel to the novel "Cursed" by Thomas Wheeler, now also a Netflix series, that is an alternative version to the famous Arthurian legend, but now the story gets closer to the most known legends

The City of Adema will bring great prosperity in trade to Camelot, but it's war-filled history has come back to haunt. Merlin wishes nothing more than to protect his friends, but how is he supposed to protect them from himself? There's something inside of him, and it's not his own. Trigger warnings for suicidal/self-harming thoughts and gore. The story is pretty dark in content but still has some lighter moments, courtesy of Gwaine. Scott Mitchell is on the run from his abusive ex-boyfriend. He leaves New York and runs to England to stay with his sister in the picturesque city York. While in York he meets an alluring man he finds himself drawn too. But will Scott allow himself to be happy, or will his dark past stand in the way? Lewis Hart is recovering from his own heartbreak, and has sworn off relationships. But when he meets Scott, he begins to question his decision. Will Lewis stay away or will he try to break the walls around Scott's heart?

Merlin's been Arthurs manservant for four months. How long will it be until they have the courage to tell each other how they feel? Are they going to ignore the people who dislike their relationship. The prince of Camelot in love with a servant. Or to be more specific 'his manservant'. This is a Merthur love story. You've been warned. I do not own this characters. I only made up the whole romance part and the adventures they're going on. This series belongs to BBC's Merlin. The characters are played as they are in the series. Is now Completed. Gaius, Gwen, and the remaining knights see it, and the new of Gwaine's death doesn't help anyone. Merlin becomes emotionally distant, and though he's still snarky and joking, there isn't quite that shine in his eyes. Gwen tries to grieve with him, being his closest and oldest friend, but Merlin insists that he's fine. Until he forces himself to clean Arthur's room, and the all too familiar memories he's been trying to forget come tumbling back, forcing Merlin to admit that he really isn't fine. Based on the song "In this Shirt" by The Irrepressibles
