Take flight with this book of stories about your favorite naval pilots! I'll be writing from both Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick. All characters and references to the movies are not mine. The only part I claim is my ideas for these short stories.

Rebel "Teaser" Taylor is an aviator pilot who is called back to Top Gun for a top secret mission, along with some old companions. The two aviators are called into the commander's office, and are delivered news they never thought possible. Picking up girls and trashy takeout on the way, Maverick and Goose have been sent to the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instruction Program. Or as the pilots call it...Top Gun.

The sun was setting on another warm day in sunny California when they pulled into the familiar parking lot of the Hard Deck bar. It was an old yacht club converted into a shrine to wild nights and Naval history, a local favorite, frequented by Navy personnel. She climbed out of her best friend's Bronco, tucking her sunglasses into the collar of her shirt, and looked around the parking lot for the familiar yellow and black 2010 Camaro her backseater drove, he was supposed to have met them here. "You ready?" her best friend asked. She looked over at him and offered a small smile. "I'm always ready Bradshaw."
