Magnus Bane got diagnosed with brain cancer on his 18th birthday and from what it looks like, he only has 20% chance of surviving. His parents are absolutely heartbroken about his disease, but they try to stay strong in front of their son. For some reason, brain cancer doesn't stop him and instead of falling into depression, Magnus keeps partying and smoking weed, claiming that he going to die one day anyways. Hot shot is five years old. He lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. Heatwave is a firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric neuro-oncologist who works at Cook childrens. Hot shot has always been a healthy and active child. However in November shortly after his fifth birthday he began to feel bad. He has had this headache for over a week, he has been vomiting, he has been tired, cranky, walking wobbly and his head is tilting to the left. Hot shot was getting worse. His worried parents took him to Cook Children's on the night of November 29th. They do an immediate MRI. Hot shot is diagnosed with a brain tumor. The next morning he has a biopsy which reveals it is Medulloblastoma SHH a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer. Their names are Hoist, Medix, Whirl and Wedge. They all decide to fight their cancer together and become best friends. They are determined to kick cancer's butt. (humanized)

Hannah just turned five years old in September she will go to Kindergarten next year. Adam, Teela, Damien and Andra are childhood friends of Orko and Dree Elle. Randor and Marlena love their grandson Dare and they care about Dare's friends Andre and Hannah because they are Hannah's age and will be in Kindergarten next year like Hannah. Both of Orko and Dree Elle's children have always been happy and healthy. However at the start of December Hannah noticed she wasn't feeling too good. Hannah has a horrible headache, she is tired all the time, she is vomiting, and she is very cranky. On the morning of December 8th they take her right away to Cook children's after she has a seizure. An MRI reveals a brain tumor in her left pariental lobe. A biopsy confirms it is ATRT. Hannah despite being very young is very brave and ready to fight. His head is tilting to the left. Then one morning in mid October he vomited in class because he felt sick to his stomach. His parents took him right to Cook Children's Hospital to get looked at. There after a scan Hot shot is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Tests are done and Hot shot is diagnosed with Medulloblastoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot needs treatment in order to get better. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer who were recently diagnosed. They decide to fight their cancer together.
