This is a songfic of Frame of Mind by Tristam & Braken. I love the song to death, and this story came to life upon deciding that it deserves more than its few minutes of beautiful glory. If I could write a book over this song, trust me; I would! Well, this certainly isn't a book. But it is my own interpretation and testament of love to a wonderful piece of art. Yet even as I leave him behind, something lingers in my mind. Something makes me almost feel bad for him. Maybe it's the bruises, or the nervousness. This isn't your typical story. It's a tale you must take in with our dear characters, Braken and Tristam. The tale they must take, threw both the electronic world and world itself. For those who do not know this tale already, I give you, Distance.

Phantoms and Monsters; those are all who fight. Those are all who rebel. North America is at war with music - especially EDM. The MI has threatened to imprison or even kill those who defy the law. A group of unofficially banished label artists, joined by a mysterious alien visitor, decide to fight back and regain their musical freedom. Starting a revolution is not all talk, they soon realize. People get hurt. And the MI - they're not the only enemy. There's another man out there, capturing artists and using them in twisted human experiments. Is this only about music? Who will survive? Who will fall? And who won't be so lucky? In a world torn by hate unfolds a story of love, friendship, loyalty, and finding family. @SingACh0rus summarized it pretty well: "Well that escalated quickly." This is my take on how the cover art for the Monstercat albums plays out as a story. This uses the re-done album art for 001-006 that was released in 2014. It tells the story of one individual (Monstercat), starting from its' fall from space. The other artists that appear on the cover art will be a part of the story, although there may be some slight changes. However, this may update more slowly, as Monstercat only releases albums so fast, so please don't get upset with me for not updating, I might not have any material to give you.
