(Y/n) is a grey troll with no happiness. She hides that grey with paint of what her colors used to be. She tries everything she can to make herself colorful again. She sings and dances with Poppy and the others rarely. Even if it felt good, she still remained grey. Her best friend is Branch, but she only talks to him once a day. He visits her at her house to talk. She can't be with him out in public because everyone just thinks he's no good because he's grey. Branch doesn't know that (y/n) is grey. She hides her true self from him too. Everyone calls Branch a negative party pooper. They even use his name as a someone is becoming boring or something. (Y/n) hides her sadness as she knew she was a Branch. (Y/n) and Branch have a crush on each other, but don't know it. Will Branch ever know who she truly is? Will (y/n) forever remain grey? Or will all their problems be solved with happiness?

This is mostly going to be Branch and John Dory. I will take requests but don't crucify me if I don't get to them. Y/n will have they/them pronouns! (I mess that up sometimes so point it out if it happens.) I will have human au's if i really get into this, but the normal troll ones they have tails because i love that hc so much.

A serious branch x reader that doesn't have an over traumatized y/n? I'm in. Story will be in 2nd person, they/them pronouns will be used, and there will be little to no description of Y/N because I don't want to take away from anyone's imagination. And I WILL take it as seriously as possible. I'm also not going to make Y/N's backstory like crazy depressing, they won't have a specific back story. I'm trying to make it slow burn, but not too slow burn. I want to make sure I actually finish this book. I wrote the first four chapters before publishing and I'll go from there.
