I lay back against the pillows and sigh. Today is the day we adopted the twins. It's a special day that we celebrate every year as we do for Callie's adoption day and for Jude's adoption day, but there is more to this day. Not only is this the day we adopted the twins, but it's also the day I gave birth to twins. It all happened before I met Stef and it was just too emotional to ever tell her about. I gave my kids up for adoption and I never forgave myself for it. That's why I was so eager to adopt the twins.
