(Inspired by the Netflix Film K-pop Demon Hunters) In the back alleys of Manila's music scene, the Barako Beats were nobodies - a mismatched crew obsessed with the 70's Manila Sound, OPM legends, and glittering disco grooves. They played for pocket change, dreaming of the big stage, until fate washed up a strange relic at Migs Cruz's feet: a crystal mic once wielded by the mythical singer Rumi of the Hunter/x Now, Migs and his bandmates - guitar prodigy Raffy Morales, bass powerhouse Ernie Sanchez, keytar queen Luz Delgado, and groove master Tommy Rodriguez - join forces with Cebu's legendary brass siblings Joaqs & Jet Malalis and Mon & Gina Jayectin, plus the mystical electric violinist Celeste Alonzo from Iloilo. Together, they form The Brass Force - a full-on disco-funk-brass-string fusion ensemble that doesn't just make crowds dance... they fight back the Saja Boys, demon-backed idols who weaponize music to control minds. From Sinulog Festival street battles to sold-out nights at Araneta Coliseum, every gig brings the band closer to fame - and closer to the showdown that could decide the fate of Philippine music forever. In sequins and bell-bottoms, under neon lights and festival fireworks, the fight for the soul of music has never looked (or sounded) this funky.
