Marinette is a dance student attending Agreste Dance Academy, for about 3 years. Its basically a school with dance as one of your core classes along with math, science, history, etc. She loves to dance, but when she hears about this Miraculous Dance Club, she didn't know if she would join or not. You see, break-dance is strictly forbidden in the Academy, and if you get caught stepping foot in the club, you get instantly expelled. So, she disguises herself as a character Ladybug. She soon meets the coolest male dancer there, named Chat Noir. Also disguised, so he won't get caught. And he is none other then our famous Adrien Agreste. Who Marinette has a crush on. You can say break dancing and ballet are two different styles of dancing. I have a mother who grew up dancing ballet, and I had a father who grew up dancing break dance. I had the choice of learning either of those two, and I chose break dance. My father, my mother, and twin brother Jeyson were proud of me dancing, especially my dad. But ever since my father passed away I was forced into being a ballerina. Break dancing and ballet are different styles of dancing. And now I can say, I am both now: a street dancer and a ballerina.
