"This world is made on rules. It's what makes where we live cleaner and safer. And if you break these rules...well.. you won't hear the morning birds sing." He said with an evil chuckle. This man is nuts.. I thought quietly to myself. "Everyone here is 16 or turning. So, none of you know the rules. You may have broken some of them already, but that's why you have three chimes. Each time you break a rule a chime is taken away. And if you're left with no more.. you'll hear the ravens crowing." He smiled innocently, though I could hesr the happiness in his voice. "Since none of you know the rules, I'll need a volunteer. Raise your hand." No one raised their hand. Suddenly I felt a hand on my arm and someone rose my hand for me..
