Jasper helps her to adjust and she helps him without knowing she is. They go through Isabella's and Edward's weird relationship and Bella hating her sister.

Jasper's mate is the main character, Violetta Callista Volturi. Felix's hybrid daughter. She looks 18 but is really 290 years old. She was the result of a one-night stand that Felix had with an intern at the castle. It was observed with what would happen and Carlisle was there to keep the woman alive. Develops power: Psychic electrokinesis (Same as Kate) Can manipulate her powers to what is thought the full extent of them.
