Libraries. That's where Harry Potter loved to spend his time. You'd think so, too, with just a look at him - big, round glasses sellotaped in the middle, a scrawny build (although mainly due to lack of proper nutrition) and a pale complexion (as an added perk of bein shut in his cupboard for entire summers). Nor did his half-dead eyes help - until one day, he stumbles on an letter thrown out by a muggle-born who chose not to mingle with the magic world. ..... "I don't think he was ever meant to be an average wizard. Ever since that fateful day on July 31st. And another one in October." "I just hoped he'd have a normal childhood. Well - about as normal as it can get in a school that teaches magic." "All hopes of normal for him were dashed the moment he got that scar, that mark, Dumbledore. Absolutely none." _________________________________________________________ Plot belongs to me. All the rest belongs to JK Rowling. Exceptions - 1) OCs I'd introduce (read the damn books 1-7 and them alone, if the character isn't there, then it isn't the the book.) 2) Some Worldviews ( There are some - if not many - inconsistencies with quite a few points. Therefore, I shall change them.) All characters depicted in this work are fictional. Any resemblances to real people are purely coincidental. Constructive comments and criticism are welcome. Pure, unadulterated praise, even more so. Unreasonable hate comments and declarations similar to "It's Harem, I'm out" or "I hate how Ron is depicted, I'm out" or even "You haven't let them kiss yet, I'm out" are not entertained. If you don't read, it's on you. It doesn't hurt me. It doesn't hurt others. We don't need to waste cloud space on a useless comment. Just leave silently. I'm sorry if anyone was offended, but I've seen stupid comments too many times, and as a college student nearing internship, I doubt I have the time to read absolutely stupid entries.

***************** "Why won't you just leave me alone!" I said frustrated and nearing my tipping point. "Because I find you intriguing." He said coming closer. "And why would you? We are very different if you don't know." I said moving away trying to look at anything but him. "Different, how so?" He said entering my personal space once more. "Umm ... one word. SKIN." I said moving farther away from him hitting the wall. Wow, cliché much. "Skin doesn't matter." He said closing the gap. ****************** In a world, where racism seems to be dialling down, Nifemi Adefarasin is unfortunate to find herself in one community which is a bit backwards, a community that believes in the notion black and whites do not mix ... but one night changes her life forever. Besides what is a love story without a bit of an adventure.

UPDATE :- EVERY SUNDAY Welcome to the grand circus called society-where every woman is given a free manual of rules the moment she's born. Don't laugh too loud. Don't dress too bold. Don't dream too big. Basically, exist, but politely. This book isn't your typical "inspirational lecture." It's a brutally honest, laugh-so-you-don't-cry commentary on the rules we never signed up for, written with sarcasm sharp enough to slice through hypocrisy. From "The Great Feminism Sale (Buy 1 Freedom, Get 99 Rules Free)" to "The Career Compass That Points Anywhere But North," each chapter holds up a mirror to the double standards we live in. Spoiler, the reflection is ugly, but at least we can joke about it. If you've ever been told you're too much or not enough, congratulations-you're already the target audience.

"Shaadi sabko karni padti hai." That one sentence followed her everywhere. But she had one answer - "Main nahi karungi." This is not a love story. It's a journey of a girl who chose herself over societal pressure, dreams over dulhan ki choodiyan, and courage over compromise. A raw, unfiltered diary of a girl who said "No"... and meant it. 💌 Dedication > To every girl... who was told "Shaadi toh karni hi padti hai" when all she really wanted was a shot at her dreams. > To every daughter... who dared to say "No" - not out of rebellion, but out of self-respect. > To every quiet voice... whose silence was mistaken for agreement. And to the loud ones, who were shamed for speaking up. > To the girls who never wanted a lehenga, but always dreamt of boots, badges, and battlefields. And to the women who walk alone, not because they have no one - but because they chose themselves. This diary is for you. And this time, your 'No' doesn't need an explanation.
