So what if she might've wanted at least one friend in her over prestigious boarding school. She was the quiet girl. She was the nobody. No one would want to be her friend anyway. And so what if Dakota Black kind of stole her heart along the way. Guys like him were just here to waste your time. Right? And so what if he made her so angry she could spit and so flushed you couldn't tell the difference between her and a tomato? So what if he was the only one that truly understood her and was pretty much her saving grace? And so what if he was, quite possibly, the love of her life? It didn't matter. It was just the effect that came with associating yourself with Dakota Black. And it didn't matter that when they were together, they became something more. They became Extraordinary. The plot of the book is basically about a girl named Lia. The story talks about her challenges, teenage drama, and social lifestyle. (I'll bring up a better plot soon)

These two were a couple literally out of this world. Due to Earth's standardized society, they might just have to adjust to that weird standard for couples in order to fit in. It wasn't a simple task though, with how very different their planet's customs were. Starling is used to being the dominating, independent, aggressive and rebellious one. She's considered the "boy" of the relationship. On the other hand, Cosmic is prim, proper, sassy and eloquent. He's what they call the "girl" of the relationship. With the mission to find the last royal blood-line of their destroyed home planet, they must find a way to fit in society. Or, would it be better for them to fight against those standards?
