A poem about people suffering from any and all kind of brutality from domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying, rape and the list itself seems endless. A small reminder for each one of us that we aren't alone in this and our voice has the power to make a big change that our world needs. So break the silence and stop the chain. #staystrong #breakthesilence #RaiseYourVoice

BRUTAL TERRAIN Mental health issues are the most common problem among individuals today. Where people need to come out and ask for help, they choose to stay in because of stigma in the society. Changes need to be made, questions need to be asked. Why mental health a taboo!?

The Silent Echoes Within Me" is an emotionally charged post that delves into the profound difference between hearing and being heard. It speaks of the longing for validation and understanding, particularly in moments of vulnerability. Through heartfelt words, it sheds light on the experience of pouring one's heart out, only to have the words dissipate into the air, and the desire for true empathy and connection. This powerful piece advocates for a world where empathy transcends gender norms, and where every voice is valued and cherished. It is a heartfelt plea to break the silence and embrace the power of being heard.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Now, I know many of you are probably thinking about turning away right now. But please don't. Read through this blurb and give this a chance. In this, I am going to be posting short stories, poetry, quotes, statistics, and maybe a few testimonials, to spread the word about rape. It happens, and it isn't pretty. Maybe you want to look away and pretend it doesn't happen, or that it could never happen to you. But it won't change it. Rape is real, and rape is hell. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help me spread the word, BREAK THE SILENCE, and STOP THE SHAME. #BREAKTHESILENCE #STOPtheSHAME #SAawareness

"I tried to take a breath, I knew a sound could mean my death, For months I heard his threats, The threats he would do if his needs weren't met, By now I was used to the pain, Deep down I knew I would never be the same, I held on to my mind trying to stay sane, As tears flowed down my face like raindrops mixing with the hurricane "...." 'Amendment' is a poem inspired by the protests taking place across the globe against racism. May George Floyd along with many others who lost their lives for no good reason finds peace in their after life. May the family of the victims gets courage to trust the world again. So much power to the ones still struggling.... You are perfect and you are loved ❀️

It is true that, at the same moment as this strange inhibition affects me, I know that such self- chastisement is stupid and pointless. I know there is no sense in denying myself a pleasure because it is denied to others, forbidding myself enjoyment because someone else is unhappy. I know that, in every second when we are laughing and cracking silly jokes ,somewhere or the other human being is breathing stertorously on his deathbed, I know that misery lies hidden behind thousands of windows and men and women go hungry, that there are hospitals, stone quarries and coal mines, that countless drudges work themselves to the bone in factories and offices, countless prisoners do forced labour at every hour of the day, and it does none of them any good in their hour of need for another man to torment himself for no good reason. I realise that if you were to begin thinking in detail of all the misery present in the world at one and the same time, you would never be able to sleep, and all laughter would die in your throat. But theoretical, imagined suffering is not what distress a man and destroys his peace of mind. Only what you have seen with pitying eyes can really shake you.

A Journey Through Pain, Hope, and Resilience Every day, millions wake up carrying invisible weights-of sorrow, of fear, of the dreams they once believed in but now doubt. This book is the story of one such soul. A girl who has seen the darkest corners of her own mind, who has stood alone when the world turned its back, and who still found a reason to try... one more time. Through raw emotions and poetic storytelling, One More Time explores the silent battles we fight daily-the unspoken tears, the unseen strength it takes to get out of bed, the quiet moments of choosing yourself over despair. It's not about a grand transformation or a sudden miracle. It's about survival. Persistence. And the belief that even when no one claps for you, even when no one sees your pain-you can still rise. This book is not a solution to your problems. It is a mirror of your pain and a hand on your shoulder saying, "You are not alone." If you've ever felt like giving up, this book is a reminder to try again-not forever, not even for tomorrow. Just... one more time.

Insomnia trigger ⚠️ Death trigger ⚠️ Rape trigger ⚠️ Based on a real life story but was written in a fictionalized mode cuz I'm not given a strict instruction to post the story on Wattpad She's not your typical Lagos girl. Her name is Rhema "Night" Owolabi, born in the slums of Ajegunle but with a voice so powerful it could raise the dead or start a revolution. She disappears at age 14 after a brutal incident no one talks about. When she returns at 20, she's changed: tattooed, cold, singing songs too real for radio. She starts dropping songs exposing pastors, politicians, police brutality, and even sexual abuse in the music industry. Her lyrics are coded, but those who know, know. She becomes viral in the underground, but hated by the powerful. She's hunted, blacklisted, labeled a cultist, called possessed. Her abuse in the church as a child singer A cult group that tried to silence her permanently A female gang that protects her in the streets A young journalist trying to uncover her story who may be in love with her or trying to betray her Her battle with mental health PTSD, rage, depression but music is her only therapy
