Skyler was a poor sixteen year old girl with long cascading brown wavy hair that ended right above her waistline. Rosy high cheek bones dominant on her stunning sun-kissed curved body. Her large stormy grey eyes observed and calculated her surroundings ever since the incident that haunts her till date. When her heart was shattered to pieces and her life came crumbling apart. The moment the police officers set foot on her front porch, giving her the devastating news: a tow truck driven by a drunk driver had crashed into her father's vehicle, (when he was coming back from the diner he worked in) leading to his sudden death. Fatherless, she was left to carry all the pressures of life onto her petite shoulders, along with the fact that her mother had been a breast cancer patient for the past 5 years. Desperately in need of money, she immediately searched for a job, however wasn't successful. She had gone to diners, cafes, stores, offices, schools... everywhere she could think of. Yet young Skyler wasn't qualified and didn't reach the limits to the managers' satisfied standards. Day and night, she pleaded with tears hoping to persuade the managers, informing them about her mother's feeble state, but would always come back home with no success. Helplessly looking through websites, she came across 'Baby sitter needed immediately for the Andersons' written in big bold letters. Excitement coursed through her slim body as she instantly dialed the number and asked if they were still in need of a babysitter. Within minutes, she was hired to baby sit the youngest son of the Anderson family- Cody. Skyler was relieved to have found a job, yet she was hardly ever able to pay for the bills along with the chemotherapy. Find out what happens with Skyler, her mother and the Anderson family
