When It Hurts to Breathe Healing Through Loss and Finding Yourself Again The world didn't just change. It stopped When loss strikes, it doesn't just take a person, place, or a dream. It takes your breath away. It leaves a hollow space where your identity used to live, leaving you with one haunting question: Who am I now? In the wake of profound grief, the path forward is rarely a straight line. It is a messy, non-linear journey of rogue waves and shadow days, where the ground can give way just as you think you've found your footing. "When It Hurts to Breathe" is a gentle, honest roadmap for those navigating the "after." It doesn't offer hollow clichés or "quick fixes." Instead, it offers a steady hand and a new perspective on survival. This book is for the person who feels unrecognizable to themselves, providing a blueprint for the Architecture of Rediscovery. Inside, you will navigate the eight stages of your journey: >The Many Faces of Loss: Acknowledging the weight and complexity of what has been taken. >The Mind in Mourning: Understanding the mental fog and the psychological toll of grief. >Sitting with Pain: Learning to endure the silence without being consumed by it. >The Body Remembers: Addressing the physical toll of trauma and how to release what your body is holding. >Letting Go Without Forgetting: Finding the sacred balance between honoring the past and living in the present. >Rebuilding the Self: Designing a new identity and embracing the "tiny revolutions" of healing. >Light Returns Slowly: Overcoming the fear of joy and learning to stand in the sun again. >The Alchemy of Compassion: Discovering how your survival becomes a gift of hope for others. Healing isn't about going back to who you were before the "after." It's about the brave, sacred process of becoming someone new who honors their history without being buried by it. You have lived through the winter. Now, it's time to find your way back to t

THE UNSPOKEN SERIES #2 Friendship was never supposed to feel this complicated. Fioranne Amaris A. Olvera, the overthinker with a heart too cautious, and Norvian Kael C. Lomeda, the boy who never runs out of smiles, find comfort in each other's company - until comfort starts to mean something more. But not every feeling is easy to admit, especially when fear hides beneath the surface. As laughter turns to longing and friendship blurs into love, they'll learn that the scariest battles aren't always seen - they're felt. Because beneath every smile lies a secret, and sometimes, love is the one thing we overthink the most.

Millie went missing three months ago. Police suspect the worst. Penelope refuses to give up. When she finds the cryptic note Millie left for her, she finds herself on a wild chase through worlds she never thought she'd know. Through a love story that consumes her, a mystery that suffocates her, and lies that surround her, Penelope discovers a side to herself that is insatiable. And just as quickly, finds out what the cost is to learning the truth of what happened the night Millie went missing. ________________________________________________________ The alcohol swirled Penelope's head as she copied him, his cold uncaring eyes the only unmoving thing in her vision. He was like a beacon in the night-and she was drawn to the light. She wanted to strangle him, to hurt him the way he hurt her. But she also wanted something else-something more. Her hands shook as her feet, with their own mind, crossed the distance to him. He had long since looked away, his jaw as stiff as the rest of his body the closer she got. But he stayed-for once, he didn't run away. Penelope looked at him, conflicting emotions swimming inside her heart. She wanted him-to touch him, to feel his hands on her skin, to be with him, to never leave him. "I hate you." She said it again, confirming the words as the tears fell faster down her flushed cheeks. "Why? Why didn't you stop them?" She grabbed his leather jacket, clenching the material in her hands; desperate for answers, for a do-over, for something. Something that he could never give to her no matter how hard she searched. His eyebrows cinched together as his blue eyes watered, staring at nothing and knowing full-well he couldn't be the relief to her trauma. He shook his head with a dark pained smile on his face, "It's ironic that I tried though, isn't it?" ________________________________________________________ Started: Feb 21st, 2021 100 votes: April 3rd, 2021 1k reads: June 4th 2021 11/30ish chapters completed 🤭

Some loves are forbidden not by society-but by the ghosts we carry within. Shaina Suyesh was never meant to be here-not in Darjeeling, not in this borrowed life, not holding a title she never asked for. But fate doesn't wait for permission. Torn away from her dreams and the warmth of her grandmother's home in Kumaon, Shaina arrives in the mist-draped hill town, carrying more than just packed bags-she carries guilt, grief, and a heart that's learning how to be lonely. She was prepared for solitude. She wasn't prepared for Madhav. Mysterious, unattainable, and tangled in the very threads of the life she's trying to survive-his presence both soothes and complicates everything. With every fleeting moment, every shared silence, and every accidental touch, she finds herself pulled toward a love that feels as forbidden as it is fated. But in a world built on secrets, where even rain seems to remember the past... how do you hold on to something that was never meant to be yours? A story about longing, memory, and the ache of falling for someone you can't have-set in the quiet chaos of Darjeeling's rain-kissed corners.
