Both he and Brenda later entered her dimly lit house, where Exer and Brenda chatted about the day. However, as they spotted David, the room seemed frozen as he lay unconscious, bleeding and bruised. This heartbreaking scene sent a chill down both Brenda's and Exer's spines.
