Brent Smith is a man of many colors, and many emotions. But that's one thing the world doesn't see. Rachelle was the perfect image of what Brent could want as a girlfriend; on the inside, and out. Or so he thought. The truth was, she wasnt the image he expected. At all. After years of dating her, rotten flowers started to bloom within her. Flowers that excreted poison. So much that it seeped through every pore. He was heart broken. The woman he thought he'd be with forever had turned into a poisionous demon right in front of him. And now, he had no where to go. Now: Taylor was a huge fan of Brent's work. She went through a super abusive relationship, and it caused her to have PTSD and many other mental illnesses linked to trauma. Brent's music seemed to be some of the most relatable things out there. One day Taylor had the perfect opportunity to meet him; but in the strangest way. Running from the institute. What was Brent going to do with this bundle of problems? Was he going to take her problems onto himself, and risk his current life be taken from him? This girl's life was in Brent's hands.

Story Starts In 2009.

Brent and Zach have known each other for a long long time, and they know each other better than they know themselves, they are in the same band for god sake. But Zach starts to think he actually doesn't know his best friend like he thought he did. But is this "new Brent" really him? Or is it the drugs talking?

Brent wasn't born normal. He was born in a bad dream his mother had. The dream that caused her to be obsessed with fire and turned her insane. His father was the same... he was a Pyro. Brent was half devil, half human. He loved fire but not as much as his parents... his little brother had been born and nobody knows where he went. He was 10 and never came home from his friends. Brent was told he died. Because of that, Brent started craving fire and revenge to kill for his brother. But Brent also had fears. Brent had nightmares... Brent saw monsters that to him he knew they were real... why? Because he was one of them...

Hi this is my new story about Eric Bass and his non-existing daughter (which doesn't have a name at the moment) I just thought to make this story because there's not many stories about Eric and Shinedown well fanfics about them so lets see how this goes. thank you for reading if you happen to read this.
