The world is a dangerous place. A world where the supernatural is possible is more dangerous. Fortunately, Tommy Gorman, the founder of the NHL, realizes the peril and addresses to the vulnerable tier of hockey: major junior hockey and collegiate hockey (CHL [WHL, OHL, QMJHL], USHL, & NCAA). After Tommy introduces the founders of the CHL, USHL, and NCAA the universe of power players, the three get together to form the Good Junior Hockey Players' Society (GJHP). Little did they know that they were setting up to launch the very thing they were aiming to fight against. PG for action and peril, some rude humour, and thematic elements -This is a spin-off of the AAOOOSC! series. This is not part of the series and can be read anytime! BUT it is highly encouraged to be read after reading "AAOOOSC! Little do they know they are all power players, destined to fight with other power players to defend their friends from a certain, unexplainable evil. A team of various, willing players from around the league is assembled. During the summer, off-season days and off-days during the season, this team of Extinct or Alive: Animal Species Protectors (AKA: the ASP), ventures out to defend species around the world, conserve the nearly extinct and prove the existence of the "thought-to-be-extinct." These nine young men live by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, which is a worldwide conservation status listing and ranking system. It divides species into nine categories: Extinct (EX), Extinct in the Wild (EW), Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), Near Threatened (NT), Least Concern (LC), Data Deficient (DD) and Not Evaluated (NE). With some new faces rotating into the "ASP" team, they all gather together to aid in the discovery of new species, old species and most importantly determine if a species is truly... Extinct. Or. Alive.
