My favorite Chicago ship

A very short story place in 8x09 of Chicago Fire,from Brett perspective.

Sylvie Brett is the new rookie paramedic at firehouse fifty one, she's bubbly and eager. She also came to Chicago for a fresh start after running away from a bad life in Fowlerton. Matt Casey is firehouse fifty one very serious Lieutenant, his main focus is his job and he haven't been in a relationship since high school. Matt also struggles to open up about his past or life to anyone in the firehouse. When Matt and Sylvie meet, they begin to change each other lives for the better and feelings begin to develop but are either of them willing to admit their more them friendship between them.

One Shots based in the One Chicago universe! - I've recently binged Chicago Fire and Chicago PD again, but I've never watched a full season of Chicago Med. I will mainly be writing couple one shots from all three shows, although the Med ones may not be as up to par! Feel free to also request on the request chapter for a character x reader. Violet Casey, Matt's favourite (and only) niece points out what Matt had been so blind to; Gabby Dawson has the hots for him. While he is engaged. While Matt is most definitely... Shocked at this news, he is in no way pleased. As a result, they never get together.

How different would Matt and Sylvie's journey to each other have been if he had asked her out on 7x22? Slow burn rewrite, picked up pace, less Dawson focused (still addressing that though, and no hate towards her)
