This is a fanfic surrounding the relationships at firehouse 51.

A call, a warehouse on fire; sometimes it takes very little to turn people's lives upside down, and this is one of those cases. If the fire, with the same people, had happened two blocks away, the life of 51 would have continued quietly. But fate has other plans, and even if it doesn't seem like it, the universe is also keen to make people feel better. And in this case, the universe, God, coincidence, call it what you want, has sent a little girl mabye too silent.

After Brett takes a step back from Casey so he can figure out his feelings and what he wants, Stella shows up ready to take her best friend out for a girl's night with Hailey Upton and Kim Burgess. Their night out takes an unexpected turn when the new night club they're at becomes the latest target of a serial bomber, leaving the girls and everyone inside trapped and severely injured. Putting their own injuries aside to help the victims and keep them alive, things take a turn for the worst and the girls are put to the ultimate test in the fight for their lives. On the outside, having seen the bombing on the news at Molly's, Casey and Severide, along with Jay and Adam, rush to the scene but when the unthinkable happens, further trapping the girls and putting their lives in even more danger, the guys are left on the sidelines feeling angry and helpless.

"You can bend me, you can break me, but you better stand clear when the walls come tumblin' down." ~ John Mellencamp, "Crumblin' Down" In which the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attack brings three firefighters back to New York with key members of their firehouses behind them. AU 91-1-1: Lone Star post-Season 2, 9-1-1 post-Season 4, Chicago Fire mid-Season 10, Law & Order: SVU mid-Season 23, Law & Order: OC mid-Season 2, and Law & Order mid-Season 21.

One Shots based in the One Chicago universe! - I've recently binged Chicago Fire and Chicago PD again, but I've never watched a full season of Chicago Med. I will mainly be writing couple one shots from all three shows, although the Med ones may not be as up to par! Feel free to also request on the request chapter for a character x reader. Parameters on requests will be in that chapter. - I do not own the characters, they belong to Dick Wolf Entertainment.
