Holly Archer is the cheer captain at Shermer High School. Pretty, popular she seems to have it all. That is until she is forced to attend detention on a Saturday and will meet a boy unlike the others before.

Avery Standish was the opposite to her sister Claire. Claire was miss popular, the princess of the school and she always looked beautiful in her floral dresses and high heels along with her flawless skin and perfect hair. Avery was not like that, she had never been seen in a dress, always in her large denim jacket and the most she did with her hair was straighten it or put in in a ponytail.
