The mayor of Gansu... A poor and underprivileged city in China... receives a letter from the elusive and brilliant fantasy book author, Ji Jingcai. The letter states Ji Jingcai wants the mayor to start a contest in search for the most creative young writer in Gansu. The winner will be sent on a journey to find the unidentifiable Ji Jingcai and collaborate on a book that will guarantee the young writer success. What the journey holds for the winner is a shock and whirlwind !

Joice is a very inspired young woman, fresh out of school. She draws fantastical pictures of fairies and dragons and mermaids, writing stories to go along with every one of them. Her works get darker when she starts to have trouble keeping a roof over her own head. One night, she is woken from her sleep to see her first and favourite dragon looming over her. He begs her to stop the dark cloud she has started in his world before it is too late. Can she save her own fantasies from destruction? or will their world be destroyed?

Akane, is a 17 years old girl who wishes to go to the Royal College of Art. Her paintings and drawings are special, beautiful and unique, but because its as everything no one has ever seen before, no one dares to like it. Because of the lack of money, the only way of going to the university is selling the paintings no one wants. When she starts giving up on her future, at night, in what seems like dreams, she meets a dragon-like creature, which becomes the only thing that still wants her to hang to her dream.

Irina had never believed her grandmother when she used to tell the young girl that dragons were real. "Such imaginary beast do not exist," Irina would say, returning to her own fantasies that had always been dominated by pencils and colors. That's when Patumuk materialized out of thin air, Irina thought she had to be dreaming - that was until he took her onto an adventure that went far beyond her pens and paper. Short story for Brian Kesinger's writing contest. Alana is a girl with a wild imagination. Ever since the tender age of 5 she's had a magnificent ability to draw dragons; one of earth's favourite mythological creatures. Her thoughts and her dreams have been surrounded around her obsession with these creatures. At the age of 18, on a very special day when even mother nature has pushed her towards her destiny, will Alana uncover why she has always had such an admiration for dragons? Will her drawings finally come to life to guide her towards the answer or will she yet again wake up from this reoccurring dream? This short story is very symbolic. The topics behind confinement, dragons, imagination, etc. are all open to interpretation. ENJOY!

He must overcome his fear of the creatures who slayed his parents to save his kingdom. Kriti is alone on the streets of a city where she's known only pain and loneliness. Art is in her heart, but she's afraid to unleash it after seeing what it did to her mother. When Remington finds her, can he convince her to embrace her talents and save Tarragon?

An original short story.

A fantasy about a lady and a dragon applies in the reality if you interpret them as a parent and a child. The story begins with her running away from a palace... She does not represent the child, the dragon does. She represents the parent who got out of a family that brought her up. This is all about Amelia making her own dream with Rose, her dragon.
