(There will be spoilers for the new movie in this if you haven't seen it yet, so I suggest watch it before reading this) Astrid is the daughter of Alpha Trion. She was a baby when her sire and the other primes were killed by Sentinel. Sentinel has been taking care of Astrid her whole life, and because she was too young to know what really happened, he's been filling her heads with lies, just like everyone else in Cybertron. Astrid is considered royalty because she lives with Sentinel and is blood related to him. And even though she is royalty, she still likes to hang out with a pair of certain miners. Orion Pax and D-16. Sentinel doesn't like that she hangs out with them, and even though he's tried to stop her from hang out with them, she still does in secret. Astrid is now taking Sentinel's place as queen until he returns from finding the matrix of leadership. And that gave her a lot more time to hang out with her friends. Time skip to when they figure out Sentinel has been secretly helping the quintessons in secret this whole time, secrets are revealed and betrayals happen, will Astrid become an Autobot and remain in Iacon and take her place as queen, or will she become a Decepticon and go to the surface?
