AU: When Queen Ingrith dares to suggest she would be a better mother for Aurora than Maleficent, it isn't Maleficent who has the big outburst, but rather, it is Aurora, who is just as protective of Maleficent as Maleficent is of her. And then later, when a guard makes the same mistake with Diaval, Aurora is just as quick to defend him too.

No matter what anyone else said, the mother-daughter bond between Maleficent and Aurora was powerful and true. Yes it was weird, but they were bound by something even deeper and stronger than blood: love. So no matter what the world said, Maleficent and Aurora didn't care because, at the end of the day, they were all that really mattered.

Raymond Nisven is the male protagonist of the game, "Tales of Ardor." An otome/bishojo game with 9 fairytale characters as your love interest options. But suddenly Audrey Wilson finds herself in the body of Ramona Nisven inside of that exact game. Not only is she unsure as to why Raymond is Ramona, but there's also the fact that Ramona is still there as well, and is positive that Audrey will take over her body and life. Beyond that, there's the fact that the other characters aren't exactly acting like they do in the game which just confuses Audrey even more.

Aurora had always been careless. For better or for ill, that innocence had not faded with time. Maleficent loved it, for sure, but it did make keeping the young girl safe a bit tricky at times. But then again, parents nagging their children to stay safe was all part and parcel of having a family. Maleficent (and Aurora) would just have to get used to it!

It was a lesson Maleficent didn't used to believe, but after all she had been through in the past few days, her perspective had shifted again. Seeing the lengths to which people and fairies would both go in the name of love made Maleficent realize that maybe that silly little fairytale lesson wasn't quite so silly after all.

Briar Rose was quite a regular girl. She lived in the forest with her three aunts and couldn't ask for a better life. The woods were her playground and the animals were her friends. Life was good. Until her 16th birthday, that is. She had dreamed of being a princess, but it was a child's fantasy. And the castle is much colder than her cottage.

When nightmares plague Aurora, it takes both Diaval and Maleficent to calm her down and not for the first time does she realize how lucky she is to have such a loving family. And the feeling is mutual, Diaval and Maleficent drawing just as much strength and comfort from each other and Aurora as Aurora draws from. It's exactly what family is really all about.

After the final battle is over, Maleficent finds herself unable to move past something that happened (or rather, almost happened) during the fight and it takes some reassurance and a trip down memory lane led by Aurora to assuage her guilt and fear. Maleficent is feeling insecure, good thing her little Beastie always knows how to cheer her up.

Shady Spindle was the daughter of the one and only...Maleficent. And she was going to Ever After High. The only problem is that unlike Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, Shady wanted to be bad to be the villain destiny says she'll be. Evil is a lonely road, that much Shady has figured out. And she wants what her mother had, a best friend forever after. Someone to rule with, an evil partner to help cause chaos and create mischief. Just like Maleficent and the Evil Queen. They were best friends. And that's exactly what Shady wants from Raven. But will her thoughts change when she realizes that being evil isn't all it's cracked up to be. And what does Raven think? Add in a boy whose infatuated with her and a mother whose trying to break out of mirror prison. High School can be a lot harder than it looks. (Faybelle in this story is not a daughter of Maleficent.
